Conqueror Typographic Games

February 20, 2012

Conqueror (a paper producer) created a poster design contest to promote the Olympic Games in London. In order to enter the contest, you must create a typographical poster that uses the phrase “It’s not what you win, but how you conquer it”. I worked on what you feel after a physical effort such as heavy breathing and dizziness. When you look at the printed poster (picture coming soon) the image is quite blurry and surprisingly, it even makes your head spin!

Here’s the link to the contest’s website, if you like my poster, don’t hesitate to vote for it!

Brattle Theatre poster

December 15, 2011

In my type class, we had to re-design the Brattle Theater‘s calendar poster. The Brattle Theater, in Boston, shows classic, cutting-edge, foreign, and art-house films, the theatre has been showing movies since 1953. I wanted to give the theatre a fresh, modern look through an abstract and square design.

Love at first sight

December 4, 2011

My boyfriend Carl is babysitting Nestor while I’m away, so this gives them plenty of time to bond and do guy things. After days of trying to pick up girls on turtle-doves.com, Nestor finally found the love of his life…

Childhood Flipbook

November 18, 2011

I have always been fascinated by animation and how it works, always. Some magical day my parents finally gave in to the idea of buying my little sister and I a flipbook! Of course it got old rather quickly but, maybe a year or so after we stumbled upon it and pimped it up… I found it in my things not long ago and wanted to give it a new life… It’s not much but, enjoy

Inside Out Project

July 24, 2011

The French photographer JR brings photography to a new level throughout his Inside Out Project.

Discover JR’s work here, and find out how to participate in the Inside Out Project thanks to the Centre Georges Pompidou right here.

I’ve been there twice and have learned the best time to go is at the opening of Pompidou. Be there 15min in advance to be first (or almost first) in line.

Don’t forget to go see the temporary exposition Paris-Delhi-Bombay so that the Inside Out Project makes more sens.

Return of the bugs

May 16, 2011

Ever wondered what goes on among my insect family/village? Now you can find out!

“The Story of Bob” is probably the first of the many stop motion videos I’ll make about my bugs.

Maybe I’ll make a series of flip books with all the pictures I took…

Enjoy
